Hi there!
I am a Colorado mountain native with 2 amazing kiddos who love to do all the outdoorsy activities that surround us. I started my dental career as a dental assistant in 2005 then graduated with my Bachelor's in Science - Dental Hygiene in 2011 from Southern Illinois University.
The world of myofunctional therapy first caught my attention in 2014 when I took a continuing education course on breathing, it was fascinating! Fast forward four years and I found myself working in a biological dental office. At this particular office the focus was health and wellness and getting down to the root cause of individual issues. It was at this time that my interest started to deepen in regard to myofunctional impairments and how they affect a person’s overall health and wellbeing. I truly believe this is one of the major missing pieces that is overlooked in the medical and dental world.
Ultimately, my passion for wanting to help others and my own personal interest on the topic, took me down the path of becoming a Myofunctional therapist. I’m eager to spread my knowledge to others and collaborate with experts of many fields to potentially save you, reduce, or even eliminate some of the health effects that myofunctional impairment can burden and be so detrimental to your overall health. I strive to be the person who helps you achieve your goals and leads you to the root of the issue.
I'm excited to be your guide on this journey!
